YELLOW CAKE
Ingredients
1. Put paper liners in cupcake pans.
2. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Gradualy add sugar; beat until well combined, about 2 minutes more.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
5. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to butter mixture, beating on low speed after each addition just until combined.
6. Pour batter into prepared pans.
7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 18-22 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
8. Cool thoroughly.
9. Frost.

- 3 eggs
- 2 ½ c flour

- 1 ¾ c sugar

5. Alternately add flour mixture and water to shortening mixture, beating on low speed after each addition just until combined.
6. Pour batter into prepared pans.

BUTTERCREAM
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3-4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2-4 Tbsp whipping cream
Directions
1. Cream butter for a few minutes on medium speed, scraping down sides when necessary. (butter should like like soft serve ice cream.)
2. Add 3 cups of powdered sugar one at a time, until smooth. (Be sure to have mixer on low, we don't want a powdered sugar blizzard!)
3. Increase mixer speed and add vanilla, salt, and 2 Tbsp of whipping cream. Beat for 3 minutes.
4. Add remaining powdered sugar or whipping cream in small amounts until desired consistency is met.

2. On low, slowly add in sugar until smooth
3. Add vanilla
4. Add peanut butter until completely incorporated
5. Add whipping cream in small amounts and beat on high until light and fluffy

- 5 Tbsp softened butter
- 2tsp vanilla
- 2-3 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3Tbsp whipping cream
Directions
1. Cream together cream cheese and butter until well incorporated and smooth
2. Add 2tbsp vanilla and mix until well combined
3. Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar until smooth
4. Add 1 Tbsp whipping cream and beat on high until light and fluffy.
5. Continue adding small amounts of whipping cream/powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.
